I had an idea. If JJ puts things in one episode that hint to the next episode, why wouldn't he do the same thing during the episode and it hints at what will happen next. Like if a leaf come up then when the commercial is over the next part will concentrate on MD. And if a frog comes up the next part could be more towards olivia. And the apple representing peter and walter (if peter is walter's clone, it helps this). So it it is really just says what the next part of that episode will be about.
And I have no idea what the glowing orbs mean :(
I was onto that same theory, I just dont have the documentation yet of which bumpers were used, what came next and a couple other varibales. How do the glowing dots fit in, and their placement? Also, does the amount of time before the return i.e. "Fringe will return in 70 seconds..." have anything to do?
I wouldn't think the time would have anything to do with it. Probably just how long the commercials are, cuz it would be too hard to choose specific commercials just for how long they are. And I still have no idea what the dots have to do with it.
Are the dots always in the same places? For instance, in this episode alone we see the dot near the top of the Delta Leaf the first time, then at the bottom the second time. Perhaps we are supposed to compile the different locations of the dots to reveal something else - perhaps a braille symbol or a geometrical shape.
Kroof, I wondered the same thing...As you pointed out, the glowing dot on the leaf changes location...However, it stays in the same place on the apple.
do you think that the orbs if overlapped would map out something in braille? I know one of the evidence files on imagine the impossibilities was all braille...maybe if somehow you lay the gliphs on top of each other you'll something out of the orbs

while watching the show, and then looking at these photos afterwards, my immediate thought was toward the lamp posts. So far in every epi he's had an upward camera shot looking into the street lights. (exp: in first epi, when explosion knocked her back). It happened again, I remember, in the second epi, but I need to watch it again to catch where...

Check out the symbols and lights, moving, and more than one. Look at the very bottom, at the things that look like braille or skyscraper windows and click on one of them. They all change when you click on them, I don't know if it's everything's related but this is something the merits investigation.
Ok, I found a braille alphabet, and it appears that those lit dots I mentioned above are in fact Braille numbers: 5 8 13 21 34. Again with the Fibonacci numbers!
The dots that are already there are also braille letters in either a mirror image or turned upside down. The sequence is:
O U QG PQ GD
an upside down Q is also the lower case Delta symbol in the Greek alphabet, the symbol also seen on the leaf
how didnt u guys see the GREEK LETTER PHI in teh back of the FROG?!? its friggen highlighted
the apple could have a PSI in it (greek letter again)or THETA
therefore it could spell something in greek (in this order is spells)
Delta, Theta, Delta, Theta, Phi
or
Delta, Psi, Delta, Psi, Phi
depending on what the letter is in the apple - I cant see it to well, PLZ help!!

Fun note: the apple 'seeds' are actually tiny fetuses.
here a few composites of the images in photoshop, I use the center line of the images and they revolve around the fetuses. Let me know if anyone has all of the images so I can line them up with theses.

Created a composite image of all the glowing orbs I could find through episode 9, and it appears to be filling in an elliptical symbol of sorts. Have a look here.
Think about a clock and the positions of the yellow dots of each glyphs.
