The airline ticket that Mark Young purchased for his Christmas trip to Omaha was made on Oceanic Air. For those not familiar with Lost, Oceanic Air flight 815 is what crashed on that mysterious island.
Interestingly, Lost is now using a new fictitious airlines for the show - Aijia Airways.

Also it says "Group 6" on the ticket, could be a nod to "the Oceanic 6"
Funny - but I thought Oceanic Airlines shut down....but I guess I'm assuming that Fringe and Lost are in the same world...perhaps not.
JJ Abrahms is the excutive producer for Lost and Fringe.
Oceanic Airlines was shutdown you're right, but they reopened relatively recently (i think it was before the start of season 4.) The characters that got off the island (the Oceanic 6) now have free passes to anywhere in the world via Oceanic Airlines planes, and I think that's the main reason that they brought it back to life.

Ian - you're right....but their website is still claims all flights canceled...
This kind of boarding pass could only be picked up at the airport. Note, it's also a boarding pass, therefore, per current industry standards, passengers are only allowed to check in 24-48 hours before departure. Boarding passes are not issued prior to that. 0If it was purchased by a travel agency, it would have the travel agency name, not Oceanic.
I'm a fan of Fringe, but thought I'd throw that in there as it's possible it could be a fake.
