What about the opening credit glyphs? I'd bet they spell FRINGE, but can't be sure, and since I'm watching online the frame advance isn't too sophisticated.
What makes this episode so specific to Peter? I didn't notice it being particularly relevant to Peter. It's much more of a Walter episode. So what's the point??
Sorry, you are right... some of the glyphs do have yellow dots, but the rest don't or they are "hidden".
I uploaded the title sequence in HD and posted some screenshots here if you'd like to take a look: Fringe Easter Eggs: Glyphs In Title SequenceIMO, it doesn't look like there is a glyph code in the title sequence.
this episode relates to peter because he was genetically engineered by walter, much like the beast. he said he had experimented with that kind of thing. and remember that scene with peter's clones
Here you will find screen captures of each episode of Fringe which are of special interest and/or that contain easter eggs. Easter eggs are hidden content intentionally inserted by the creators of Fringe. If you would like to request a screencap, you can do so by leaving a comment here.

There are no yellow dots in the opening sequence, so those glyphs aren't part of the code.

Dennis,
I was actually going to ask you this, but there are dots next to the glyphs in the opening sequence.
First it shows a butterfly, but it goes too quick for me to see a dot.
Next, there is a seahorse with a yellow dot next to his tail like the letter "N".
And a frog that has a dot just like it looks for the letter "R".
Then a flower that has a dot like the letter "I".
At first I thought it was spelling Fringe, but most likely not.
Do you see it?
